Xitao Zheng, PhD, Professor. School of Aeronautics, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China. Professor Zheng currently serves as the director of the Institute of Aircraft Composite Structures, NPU.He has been engaged in research on structural mechanics, multiscale analysis, damage evolution,failure analysis of composite materials and design of multifunction composite structures for aircraft for 40 years. He has collaborated internationally with the German Aerospace Academy (DLR), RMIT Universityin Australia, the University of Oxford in the UK, the University of Cincinnati in the US, and the University of Padua in Italy, publishing over 160 papers and winning five provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards. He is also an executive director of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials (CSCM) and a council member of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM).

Dr. Mahmut Reyhanoglu is a professor in the School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT). Prior to joining WIT, he held academic and administrative positions at various institutions, including serving as Professor and Director of Robotics Engineering at Columbus State University in Georgia, Glaxo-Wellcome Distinguished Professor and Chair of Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and Professor and Program Chair of Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. His extensive research makes use of advanced mathematical techniques and models that arise from fundamental physical principles. His primary research interests are in the areas of nonlinear dynamical systems and control theory, with particular emphasis on applications to mechanical and aerospace systems, robotics and mechatronics. Dr. Reyhanoglu has edited 7 books, contributed to 7 book chapters, and authored/co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed journal/proceedings papers. He has served as an Associate Editor for both the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board. He has also been a member of the International Program Committees for various conferences and contributed to the AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Technical Committee. Currently, he is as an editor for the International Journal of Aerospace Engineering and the MDPI Electronics Journal. Dr. Reyhanoglu has led several research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) for NASA FSGC and FAA-CST grants, and Co-PI of a project funded by DSO National Laboratories of Singapore. He collaborates regularly as a consultant on NASA SBIR projects. Dr. Reyhanoglu established a theoretical framework for a class of inherently nonlinear engineering control problems using tools from differential geometric control theory. He has applied his theoretical results to constrained dynamical systems, including wheeled mobile vehicles and space multibody systems. Dr. Reyhanoglu has directed his recent research efforts towards the control of underactuated mechanical and aerospace systems, including flexible robotic manipulators, autonomous marine vehicles, and space vehicles. His current research also includes the control of unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics and autonomous systems. Dr. Reyhanoglu has been consistently named in Elsevier’s list of the top 2% of the World’s Leading Scientists in the Aerospace and Aeronautics field and in ScholarGPS that recognizes the top 0.5% of all scholars worldwide in the Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering discipline.

I am an assistant professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering and the director of the Air Transportation Systems Design Laboratory (ATSDL) at Sejong University. Prior to joining Sejong University, I worked for American Airlines, located in Dallas, as a full-time operations research analyst. With the aid of the Korean Government Overseas Scholarship program, I received my Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering (home unit: Aerospace Engineering) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta. My research focuses on integrating different areas of specialization (i.e., machine learning, optimization, and systems design) and utilizing them to solve real-world problems in the aviation industry. I am particularly interested in air traffic management, aviation environmental impact assessment, airport modeling and simulation, advanced air mobility.

Dr. Han YUAN, professor and PhD Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. His research focuses on space flexible robotics and on-orbit maintenance technologies. He has led 6 national-level research projects, published over 60 academic papers, and been granted more than 30 national invention patents. He has developed critical equipment for various research institutes and enterprises, achieving technology transfer.

Renat Badykov, associate researcher, Harbin Institute of Technology. Renat Badykov received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical & Aerospace engineering from the Samara State Aerospace University, Samara, Russia, in 2013, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the same university in 2020. He has worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Virginia, USA, as a researcher and associate professor at Samara National Research University, Russia, and as R&D Engineer at United Engine Corporation – Kuznetsov Company, Russia. He is currently an associate researcher at Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. His research interests include gas turbine engine design, dry gas seal dynamics, magnetic bearings, and foil bearings. Mr. Badykov was an ASME member from 2017 to 2018.

Nancy Leveson is Jerome C. Hunsaker Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. Prof. Leveson conducts research on all aspects of system safety including modeling and analysis, design, operations, management, and human factors and the larger arena of system engineering. One particular common element throughout all her work is an emphasis on applying systems theory to complex systems. She has received many honors, most recently the 2020 IEEE Medal for Environmental and Safety Technologies. She was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2000.

Prof. Changguo Wang Changguo Wang is a professor in mechanics in Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His research is focused on the lightweight design of aerospace structures and composite materials. He is the editor board of CJA, SCPMA and so on. He published more than 100 papers in JMPS, IJSS, AIAA J, and CJA, etc.,.

Du Kun, male, born in 1990, Ph.D. in Engineering. Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor. Youth advisor to several research institutes in China. Recipient of multiple major scientific and technological awards in China's aerospace industry. Research interests include multi-scale thermal analysis of CMC hot components and non-axisymmetric endwall profiling and optimization for turbine stages. First-term youth editorial board member of Propulsion and Energy and Energy Storage and Saving. Session chair and technical presenter at GPPS Xi’an 2021, CITC, and other international conferences. Over 90 academic papers have been published in international journals and conferences, including International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Applied Thermal Engineering, and Journal of Propulsion Technology.

Rongchun Zhang has been Associate Professor of Aero engine Research Institute at Beihang University in China. His research focuses on flow dynamics and ultra-compact combustion in gas turbine engines. He specializes in analyzing flow mechanisms and the coupling mechanisms between flow and combustion within the combustion zone, with applications to gas turbine combustor design. He has supervised over 20 master’s and doctoral students, led more than 20 research projects, and published over 80 papers indexed in SCI and EI.

Zhongtang Huo, born in 1991, a CPC member, holds a PhD in Information Technology from the University of São Paulo. He is a Senior Engineer and Tenured Associate Professor at Handan University, and a nationally funded research fellow at Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research covers mechanical design, fluid mechanics, machine learning, with focus on impact-resistant structures and material mechanics. He has published 17 SCI/EI papers and presided over multiple national and provincial research projects

Prof. Ronghai Qu, Fellow IEEE and Fellow CES, received his B.E. and M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1993 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. He had been with the General Electric (GE) Global Research Center, Niskayuna, NY as a Senior Electrical Engineer with the Electrical Machines and Drives Laboratory from 2003 to 2010. He was the recipient of more than 11 GE GRC awards including EPST Technical Achievement Award, Outstanding Teamwork and Management Award. In 2010 he joined Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan, China. He is the director of State and Province Joint Engineering Research Center of Novel Electrical Machines, and director of Center for Advanced Electrical Machines and Drives (CAEMD). He is also a member of ICEM NPO AdCom and the chair of IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS) Wuhan Chapter. His research interests include Design and Drive of Electrical Machines. He has published over 400 technical papers including 15 IEEE award papers and holds over 200 patents. Dr. Qu is the IAS Distinguished Lecturer for 2019-2021, winners of IAS Outstanding Member Awards in 2019, of the 7th Nagamori Awards, 2021，and IAS Achievement Award，2024.

Dr. Dou Zhang is an Assistant Researcher and M.S. Supervisor at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Her research focuses on the mechanical behavior of shape memory polymer (SMP) composites and their application-oriented validation, with particular emphasis on constitutive behavior, thermo-mechanical coupling, and structure-function integration for deployable mechanisms. The SMP-based locking-and-release deployment mechanism developed by her team enabled the first dynamic unfurling of the national flag on China’s inaugural Mars mission, Tianwen-1. This achievement was selected as one of the “Top Ten Scientific and Technological Advances of Chinese Higher Education Institutions” in 2021.

Dr. Jun Zha is an Associate Research Fellow in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). He is an researcher in precision machine tool technology, with research covering machining processes, functional components, and error measurement in machine tools. He joined Xi’an Jiaotong University after earning his Ph.D. in 2017 and was promoted to a permanent faculty position in 2020. Dr. Zha earned his Ph.D. in Machine Tools and Measurement from Xi’an Jiaotong University and holds an M.Sc. in CAD/CAM from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His growing international profile is evidenced by his experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven in Belgium (2019-2020) and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Glasgow in the UK (2022-2023). At XJTU, Dr. Zha is responsible for leading academic and industry-focused research. His team's work centers on developing high-performance and high-precision machine tool technologies. His expertise encompasses several key areas, including advanced machining, the design and analysis of hydrostatic bearings, error measurement and compensation techniques, and the holistic design of precision machine tools.

Serhii Shevchenko was born in 1961, in 1984 he graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (KhPI) with a degree in "Hydraulic Machines and Automation"). In 1990 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Development and research of new designs of gland seals for pumping equipment of nuclear power plants". He worked in the research laboratory of vibration reliability of machines of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Sumy branch of KHPI (later SumDU): from 1984 to 1994 - a research associate, participated in developments in the field of aviation technology and nuclear power plants. Since 1995, he has created and managed private enterprises of the machine building industry of Ukraine, which were engaged in the production of pumping and compressor equipment for various industries. Since July 2020, he has been a senior researcher at the Pukhov Institute, Institute for Modelling in Power Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IPME). In June 2023, he defended his doctoral (Doctor of Technical Sciences) dissertation on the topic "Mathematical models of processes in sealing systems of centrifugal machines". Since August 2024, he has been an academician of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine (head of the Sumy regional organization). Since January 2025, he has been the scientific supervisor of the fundamental work "Creation of models, methods and means of increasing the safety and efficiency of the functioning of power pumping equipment", leading researcher. The direction of S. Shevchenko's scientific research is related to the development of methods for the theory of sealing and vibration reliability of centrifugal machines.

Aiming Shi, Doctor of Fluid Mechanics, Professor of School of Aeronautics in Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research interests are aerodynamics and aeroelasticity for high-speed vehicles. There are more than fifty peer-review aritles having been published from him and his co-authors. Professor Xiao-Wei GAO is the Leading Scientist of Dalian University of Technology, the National Expert of Significant Projects of China, and the Council Member of Aeronautics Society of China. He serves as the Associate Editor of Int. J. EABE, the Editor of IJCM, and the Editor of the Chinese Journal “Propulsion Technology”. His main research interests are in Computational Mechanics, Thermal-Mechanics-Fluid Coupled Numerical Methods, etc.. He was the principal investigator of more than 50 research projects sponsored by National Significant Projects of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and relevant industries. He was awarded the prizes of the Natural Science by the Ministry of Education of China and the ICACM Fellow by the International Chinese Association for Computational Mechanics. He authored/co-authored 5 monographs and published more than 280 SCI journal papers. He derived a new mathematical formulation called Radial Integration Method (RIM) for BEM, proposed a new strong-form FEM called Element Differential Method (EDM) and the strong- and weak-forms mesh free methods called the Free Element Method (FrEM), and recently created a completely novel numerical method called Finite Line Method (FLM).

Prof. Lingfeng Shi received his Ph.D. degree in Power Machinery and Engineering from the Tianjin University in 2019. After graduation, he has acquired support from the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering in the University of Science and Technology of China. Currently, he is serving as an Research Professor in the University of Science and Technology of China. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed international journal publications in energy field. His research focuses on four different aspects of CO2-based thermodynamics cycles, including (1) design of advanced power/refrigeration cycle, (2) Mars energy system, (3) key component development in waste heat recovery, (4) dynamic simulation and intelligent controls.

Salahddine Krit is a Professor, researcher, and prolific author with extensive expertise in computer science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart cities, educational innovation, and scientific research methodologies. He has made significant contributions to higher education, research, and academic publishing at both national and international levels. With a strong academic background and long-standing experience in university teaching, Prof. Krit is deeply involved in engineering education, doctoral training, and curriculum development, particularly within Moroccan higher education institutions. Dr. Yulong Li is the Dean of Civil Aviation School and a Chair Professor in Department of Aeronautical Structure Engineering in Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). He studied in Department of Engineering Science, Oxford University for about two years as a co-supervised Ph D student. He received his Ph.D. degree in Solid Mechanics from NPU in 1992 and became a Professor in 1995. From 1996 to 2000 he worked as a post-doctor and subsequently a senior research scientist in University of California San Diego (UCSD) and Johns Hopkins University (JHU). He was a visiting professor of Tokyo University of Science in Japan, a visiting professor of Université Pierre et Marie Curie of France and a visiting professor of JHU. His research interests include dynamic response and failure of structures under impact loading, constitutive relationship for materials, experimental techniques in impact dynamics, as well as, numerical simulation of materials and structures under impact. He has authored more than 400 papers, as well as over 50 patents and 4 book chapters. He is Editor Board Member for several journals including 《J. Dynamic Behavior of Materials》、《Int.J. Impact Engineering》、《Acta Mechanica Sinica》 and so on.

Dr. Adesh Kumar Tomar is working as an Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Pontifica Catholic University of Chile (UC). He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2022. He Won Pontifica University Postdoctoral Contest 2023 and National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development, FONDECYT, Contest 2023. He has experience working on various consultancy projects sponsored by Bioprocess, Chile; BHEL Haridwar. Prof. “Moh’d Sami” Ashhab earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering / control and dynamics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, U.S.A. in 1996 and 1998, respectively. After working for about four years in industry in the U.S.A., he joined the Hashemite University in Jordan in year 2002 where he became a mechanical engineering Professor in 2013. Prof. Ashhab spent his sabbatical and unpaid leaves during the period 2015 – 2018 as a mechanical engineering professor at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah in United Arab Emirates. He served as the editor-in-chief of the Jordan Journal of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering during the period 2018-2022. Prof. Moh’d Sami Ashhab joined Al Hussein Technical University, Amman, Jordan in year 2020 where he is currently a mechanical engineering professor in addition to being the first dean of scientific research and innovation from 2021 until 2025. His primary interests are in the areas ofcontrol, dynamics, mechatronicsmechanics, automation, MEMS and NEMS, artificial intelligence, optimization, simulation, energy, and industrial applications. Prof. Ashhab has more than 70 publications and several industrial projects in the above areas.

Dr. Fengfeng Li received her Ph.D. degrees in Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2020. In 2014 and 2018-2019, she was funded by the China Scholarship Council to conduct joint training at Texas A&M University and University of Bristol. She currently serves as an associate professor at the Department of Astronautical Science and Mechanics, a member of the Center for Smart Materials and Structure at Harbin Institute of Technology. Her research interests are mechanics of shape memory polymers composites, experimental mechanics and smart space deployable structures.

Dmitry Uglanov is a Professor in the Department of Heat Engineering and Heat Engines, Samara National Research University named after Academician S.P. Korolev (Samara University), Russia, and conducts research in the areas of heat engineering and heat transfer in power plants, cryogenics, cold-energy systems, cooling systems and energy-saving problems of LNG using . Professor Uglanov graduated as an engineer for laser systems and received Ph.D. at Samara University, Russia in 2003 and 2006, served as assistant of the Heat Engineering and Heat Engines till 2009. From 2023 till now he is a Professor in the Department of Heat Engineering and Heat Engines. In 2022 he received a Doctoral degree in engineering. He is also a Vice-Dean of Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering and Member-Correspondent of International Academy of Refrigeration. He has published more than 150 journal papers in his research fields. From 2025 he is a visiting Professor of North Western Polytechnic University.

Yu Jinlu, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Air Force Engineering University(AFEU). Engaged in research on aero-engine performance evaluation and advanced combustion. Qinmin Zheng (Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor) He has been Associate Professor at Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. His research interests include intelligent fluid mechanics (the application of data-driven methods such as deep learning, modal reduction, and data assimilation in fluid mechanics), computational physics (high-fidelity numerical simulations and mechanistic analysis of turbulence), and vortex-dominated flows (aircraft flow fields and aerodynamic/thermal analysis, flow separation and transition, and fluid–structure interaction). Dr. Zoltan Gal is full professor in the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Debrecen, where he serves as head of the Department of Information Systems and Networks. Prof. Junhao Geng is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Industrial Augmented Intelligence and the Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial University Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Factory Industrial Software. His research primarily focuses on intelligent process design and simulation for complex products in high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace. His expertise also extends to AR/AI-based augmented intelligent manufacturing, manufacturing large models, computer vision-based intelligent equipment, and high-end industrial software. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orchidea Maria Lecian graduated in Theoretical Physics at Sapienza University of Rome and ICRA-in 2005 and completed her Phd at Sapienza University and ICRA. She was post-doctoral Fellow at IHES (Bures-sur-Yvette, France), MPI (Potsdam-Golm, Germany) and Sapienza University of Rome. She took part in intensive research prorammes at MPI (Potsdam-Golm, Germany), at The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (Toronto, Canada) and IHES (Bures-sur-Yvette, France), and at Milan State University (Milan, Italy). She has been researcher for SAIA- NS'P (The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic- National Stipendium Program) as Research grantee and Erasmus Lecturer at Comenius University in Bratislava (Bratislava, Slovakia), Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Department of Theoretical Physics and Physics Education- KTFDF in 2017-2018. She was Visiting Professor at Kursk State University, Faculty of Algebra, Geometry and Didactics of Mathematics Theory (Kursk, Russia) within the Programme Education in Russia for Foreign Nationals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in 2022-2023.
